Anyone have any insight on this?

Orig cone number for the 416-8B and 416-8C was 21184-4. I'm holding one now.

Orig cone number for the 416-8A was 21184-3. At least that is what is in the woofs I just got. And if they have been reconed, you sure can't tell.

I've seen cones on ebay. 21184-2.

So I'm wondering, are these all interchangeable?

Also cleaning old drivers, I use a damp cloth. Works well, and even gets the junk off the sticky surround.

I can't state this as Fact but I am pretty sure all the 416s take the same cone.

If you go to GPAs site I think you will find the A, B & C all use the same current cones.

I would suspect the differences in original cone numbers to have more to do with when they were manufactured then what model they are in.
